Acabam de ser revelados os nomeados para os mais importantes prémios de cinema. A 87ª edição realiza-se a 22 de Fevereiro e a lista de nomeados mantém a linha de imprevisibilidade de anos anteriores. Ou seja, estão cá todos os que se adivinhavam.

Os grandes “vencedores” são Boyhood, o filme independente que arrecada cinco nomeações nas categorias mais importantes, excepto melhor actor, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), com o mesmo número de nomeações e que granjeia Michael Keaton com uma nomeação para Melhor Actor, e ainda, igualando o mesmo número de distinções relevantes, The Imitation Game com Benedict Cumberbatch. The Theory of Everything, o filme que parece feito para ganhar Óscares obteve quatro nomeações, incluindo Melhor Filme, Melhor Actor e Melhor Actriz. No geral, foram The Grande Budapest Hotel e Birdman que conseguiram mais nomeações, nove e oito, respectivamente.

Conspícuo pela sua ausência em diversas categorias está Gone Girl. O filme realizado por David Fincher resultou apenas na nomeação de Rosamund Pike para Melhor Actriz.

Na categoria de Melhor Filme de Animação estão os já esperados How To Train Your Dragon 2 e Big Hero Six. The Lego Movie ficou de fora da lista porque, aparentemente, nada faz sentido.
